DAWECY Foundation

DAWECY Foundation is an after-school programme that is operating in Khayelitsha in Nkanini informal settlements. We are currently working with 45 children to assist them with their school work, do holiday programmes, provide them with one meal a day. We have recently added other programmes which are based on art. We currently do pottery, beading, drawing, music and dance. We are also partnering with local NGO’s to do Sexual and Reproductive health education for children and their parents.
