Skye’s Wooden Spoon

Skye’s Wooden Spoon (SWS) based in Eastridge, Mitchell Plain and Vosho Endlovini, Khayelitsha. The projects/initiatives include a feeding scheme based in Vosho that feeds approximately 250 people
three days a week (700 meals a week), early childhood developmental center, a food garden and outreach programmes. The project deals with various case work including assisting families with birth certificates and placing children back in schools.
In Mitchell Plain SWS runs an afterschool programme, outreach programmes, recreational initiatives (dance group, Borne Reality) and refer various cases to different departments and networks. SWS seeks to aid children and communities by working in a holistic approach.
