Tembisa Ratanga is a community center for children living in informal settlement areas in Khayelitsha, the largest township in the Western Cape. It was established in 2012, and offers a range of programs from reading clubs and sports clubs to life skills and educational after school support sessions. They also provide educational excursions on weekends and school holidays to help the children learn and explore more about the city they are growing up in. We are very proud of the work they are doing to support the learning and development of children living in their community. Tembisa Ratanga receives capacity-building and networking support from CHOSA at this time.
