CHEERS FOR CHOSA – SAN FRANCISCO, JANUARY 6, 2011

There are events for all seasons, and events for all reasons, and what better reason could there be to meet up with friends and CHOSA family members for drinks in San Francisco than to round off the holiday season with a drink to the children?

CHOSA Alumni in San Francisco, led by Jason Bernstein with Jason Gilbert, Dianne Kane and Lindsay Halperin, are organizing a drink-up session at Tonic Bar (2360 Polk Street, 6-9pm) which they will host as “Guest Bartenders” – raising money for the CHOSA from the tips and sales of raffle tickets for chances to win some awesome prizes, including a cool Blue-Ray Internet TV Disc Player and a stunning Shuyler Collection watch. SOUTH AFRICAN WINTER HOLIDAY JOL – WASHINGTON DC, JANUARY 7, 2011

CHOSA’S DC-area family will be gathering at St Stephen’s Church (a popular non-profit venue in the city) for a night of traditional South African food, music, a photographic show, raffle prizes, a trip down memory lane for some and a good old South African welcome for new friends.

CHOSA’s awesome DC Alumni who have stepped up to help offer you a memorable night in true South African style include Chrissy Balz, Jason Kane, Joshua White, Mandy Slutsker, Haleigh Duggan, Bianca Jones, Molly Levine and Robin Arnett.

The ticket price ($50 at the door, $40 in advance, $30 for students and CHOSA alumni) includes a delicious South African meal, music, entertainment and the knowledge that you have just supplied diapers and formula, teachers fees, bursaries and other critical needs of the Children of South Africa. Proceeds from the cash bar and raffle tickets sold on the night will also support CHOSA.
