Today, December 1, marks World AIDS Day, a time to remember the millions of lives lost to HIV/AIDS and the children who have been left behind. Most importantly, World AIDS Day is a time to act. This year, friends of CHOSA are standing in solidarity with the children CHOSA serves in South Africa by fasting from all but pap and porridge for three days, the staple starches which are often the only food available to orphaned and vulnerable children living in desperate poverty.

Join us in our stand against hunger by pledging a dollar amount for each day of our fast. Every contribution will go directly to the projects we support in South Africa, community-based organizations ensuring that every child is provided not only food, clothing, shelter, and academic enrichment, but the love and hope that every child needs to thrive. Visit www.razoo.com/story/papandporridge to give.

Fast Team members will be writing blog posts throughout the day – check them out right here and at www.facebook.com/ChildrenofSouthAfrica.
